When we human beings want to connect with our inner selves and empower ourselves on a deeper level, it is good to be aware of how your mind works in the two levels of consciousness. There is the conscious and unconscious mind. The conscious mind is where you are aware of your thinking. The unconscious mind is where your mind is "thinking", but you are not aware of it.
When you step backwards and observe what your conscious mind is thinking about, then you have become the awakened observer of your mind. This means that you do not have to depend on your conscious mind, or what it is thinking. You can now choose to be the observer who sees things from above. You can decide if you want to let go of your conscious mind or stay in it.
I often use meditation, self-coaching, and self-hypnosis, when I want to get in touch with myself and train my creativity muscle. These tools have helped me a lot in my creative journey to become more clear, certain, and focused.
No matter what technique suits you best, listen to your inner intuition. Your best friend, your mind, will guide you in the right direction, especially when you just take it easy and listen to your silent internal voice. Often, we human beings tend to be loud, critical and judging in our everyday conscious life, because we are surrounded with a lot of distractions and noise. To connect with creativity, we need to become quieter in our external thoughts and go deeper with our internal voice.
